Acts upstream of or within several processes, including apoptotic signaling pathway; modulation by virus of host apoptotic process; and positive regulation of lymphocyte differentiation. Located in cytosol and mitochondrion. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; brain; genitourinary system; hemolymphoid system gland; and liver and biliary system.
