- リードスルーリンカー(フュージョンまたは2Aペプチド):転写反応は上流側のORFから下流側のORFへと連続するために、上流側のORFからはストップコドンが削除される。
- 非リードスルーリンカー(IRESなど):リンカーに到達する前に転写反応を停止させるために、上流側のORFにはストップコドンが必要。
